It looks like Roselyn and Mary are competing in a Magic: The Gathering duel, with Roselyn wielding Green Magic, and Mary wielding White Magic.

2025-03-10 11:42:04 +0000 UTCYes, but the crystals are only one half of the game. Also a Keidran must imho be able to handle the power he has access to. Lets say Rose has access to the massive amount of mana in one of the templar towers. Would she - or anyone else - be able to wield this power in a controlled way all at once? I don‘t think so. But clearly for most Keidran goes no crystal no magic.

I wonder what we can expect from them in future … Edit: for Keidrans only with enough crystals as discussed further below.

2025-03-10 08:46:31 +0000 UTCI don't think one can talk about 'power' of a keidran. 'Power' of a keidran depends on how much crystal they hold (magical crystals I mean!). Euchre and Rose do possess, however, a unique innate talent of transformation, you may call it an exception. Euchre achieved greatness not because of 'power', but because of passion and curiosity for magic, as well as his focus, dedication and discipline. Rose was... less ambitious to say mildly, practical about living in the forest with her tribe, didn't even think about magic. 'She has massive power but is untrained.' - it fits Raine. But she is a human. And has 'power' because of she is a daughter of a Great Templar.

2025-03-10 02:00:19 +0000 UTCCrossover between the peltedverse by mca Howarth I see. Quite fitting for a planet that appears small with weak volcanism. Perhaps it near alliance and eldritch space. Eldritch being humans, pale and lanky from settling low mass planets with lifespans in the centuries min are earths escapees along with some of its animals whose descendents are these. Anyways neat idea I'm sure.

I deduce there was a buttload of magical energy in that crystal, and one doesn't even need to be a mediocre mage to release it as a simple blast. Another question why the Grand Templar decided just to tank it with her forehead instead of one of dozens of not-so-skill-dependent ways to deal with this. I suppose she didn't expect Rose to possess such amount of energy. And she will not repeat this mistake.
