Yes, I often test the model's strength by stepping under my feet, which is a new method that I have developed through years of research.
Why did you choose this particular method?
Since miniature models are mostly not allowed to be touched, the most likely way for them to be damaged is through improper handling during maintenance, so I simulate accidents that may occur during model maintenance by foot.
How do you judge the quality of a miniature model, for example, a two-story house?
I would first gently press the roof of the house with my toes, and if the strength feels sufficient, I would gradually apply pressure until I am standing on the entire house with my full weight. If the house itself is not strong enough, it will collapse under my feet. While stepping on it, I would have multiple cameras recording simultaneously to observe the deformation and fracture of the house, as well as the deformation of the skin on the sole of my foot as it is supported, record the duration and degree of deformation before the collapse of the house.
