They made a big deal of having them at a buster call. but aside from Kuzan at Ohara none of them really do anything there. They had okay showings at Marineford, but even then many were only marginally better than the New World captains. They mostly stood around, clashed some swords, or provided assists to the actual MVPs the Admirals. Hell, Smoker somehow seems lamer after becoming Vice-Admiral despite apparently being stronger. I'm sure that's unrelated but it's funny to think about.
