There are multiple Assassin servants that are supposed to be members of the Hashashin (yeah the order of assassins that fought the templars) and they all go by the name of the order's founder Hasan i Sabbah even though they themselves are made up characters. The idea is that it's actually rare to become an actual Heroic Spirit compatible for the Assassin class because to become one you'd need to be famous which is not fit for an assassin, but these unknown people managed to because they were so tied to this one entity that did get marked in history

The Blu-rays added extra minutes of scenes for certain episodes, with one particular episode getting at least 7 minutes of extra content. The full version of the episodes used to be on Funimation, but the site no longer exists, so I don't know where the full ones can be watched outside of the blu-rays now. Netflix vesion is not the full version; it is the same trimmed version broadcasted on TV.

2025-05-16 10:13:26 +0000 UTCNice Fate Zero is one of my favorites as well, and my 3rd favorite Fate anime I prefer Apocrypha and Heavens Feel to Zero. Even though I prefer it in Japanese the English dub for this show is really strong, as it is for the entire Fate franchise.
