Jess used to annoy me a lot but I really like the person he was in this episode. Thanking people that helped him. Not letting Logan bait him and appreciating the small victories of his life. Im glad they didnt make him a big success with success but just enough to know he is doing his best and thats what count.
I dont mind Logan to being a dick to jess. He came to visit his gf and find her trying to have a secret dinner with her ex. That makes anyone salty. Him taking Rory complaining as an attack on him was stupid tho. There was no reason to assume she had a problem with him from what she was saying.
I still like Jess and Logan more at this point than Rory. Jess for his growth and Logan for his honesty. And while Logan doesnt have it as hard as someone like Jess, I still think Rory is a lot more privilege than he is where she can just drop out of school on flimsy reason and go live with her wealthy grandparents because one person didnt think she is the best. whereas if Logan where to do the same he'd probably be left without ressources. And he usually seems to throw less of a pity party than Rory he knows the life he signed up for to keep his money and he does the best he can with it.

“It’s not as easy when it’s not handed to you!” says Rory as she lives rent free, college tuition paid for if she went back, and expensive gifts from Logan lol

Enjoyed the sparring between Jess and Logan. And then Rory’s awakening after some straight talk that she actually allowed herself to hear.
