I agree they really started Pacey on a back foot with that terrible storyline. Now you can start loving his character like the rest of us π

2024-09-08 07:01:05 +0000 UTCyk actually(βπ») dawsons creek is like... the most critically acclaimed teen show along with buffy the vampire slayer, especially the first 4 seasons, but I understand that in the beginning a lot of things are too ridiculous lmao honestly the first season was the one I liked the least back then, but nowadays I have more affection towards s1 because it makes me nostalgic (even tho I didn't watch it at the time it was released lmao I'm only 21yo), btw season 3 is probably my favorite!

2024-08-26 05:18:06 +0000 UTCThe thing is, for you watching it now, the teacher/student storyline is so tired. But when this came out, it was the first time that storyline occurred on prime time TV. It was controversial and scandalous and shocking. So it was viewed a little differently. I can imagine that watching in 2024 would hit different.
