I know I was surprised that he wasn't even in an episode back when I first saw the season after the last time we saw him at Yale. I recently found out that they wanted Jess to be in this season. I figured that maybe Milo was not up for it after how they butchered Jess's character and he was busy with Heroes at the time. Why did you accept Liz so quickly when because of her negligence is the reason that Jess is the way that he is? The show just glosses over how she was before she entered in season 4 and made it seem that Jess was the problem all along.

2024-07-25 20:03:00 +0000 UTCother than the fact that rory was so up and down emotionally in the beginning of their relationship, she doesn't like logan because he fits in with her parents lifestyle, the one she ran away from. it's an unwelcome surprise that unlike her, rory may actually enjoy and fit into that lifestyle.

2024-07-24 15:45:14 +0000 UTCi know this is a question for joe lol, but i just wanted want to give my answer, as well as to your other comment—i personally don’t think so. rory dropping out of yale was not a good decision if she wanted to have a stable career in the future, no matter what it might be, in the way she had always envisioned. she wasn’t thinking clearly, and she put less than a week of thought into it. it’s not as simple as her needing a break. she was acting impulsively and was going to throw in the towel after how hard she worked. if lorelai coddled her and told her she could stay at home, she would have been enabling that behavior that is not helpful or beneficial to her. it’s tough love. richard and emily enabled her self sabotage. this is also why i question people who put the majority of the blame for rory’s not being able to handle criticism on lorelai. when rory slept with dean, and lorelai was completely honest with her about the fact that it was a bad decision and it affected more people than just herself, rory’s first move was to accept lorelai’s pitch for her to run away to europe with emily for a few months to not have to deal with the consequences of her actions because she hated being put in her place. when lorelai told rory she was making a mistake and not thinking logically about dropping out of college over mitchum’s assessment, she runs straight to grandma and grandpa again. they are where rory’s poor behavior is being encouraged. in the real world, you can’t just run away to your rich grandparents when things don’t go your way, but she does. this was richard and emily’s doing, not lorelai’s.
