I am sure you already know, Ms Celine is the same actress who played Drella, the surly harpist at Independence Inn in season 1 (and the original Sookie, but she couldn't take the full time job due to her contract with MadTV)

She expected Logan to invite her over to this book-signing party thing that his dad organised (as they talked about at the beginning of the episode, resulting in Rory calling Lorelai to get out of Friday night dinner), but then Logan just left their "study date" without inviting her to that party (thus Rory went to Friday night dinner anyway). So her disappointment came from not being invited to the party; they actually didn't have a date at all this episode. Can't wait for next week! Great episode (for the most part... lol)
