I like how they made the lady tell Katara that women cant fight in the northern water tribe, although they still go back to acting like this is 100% Pakku's rule, and not the entire tribe's tradition, or like their isnt a chief who could change that policy if he wanted.

2024-06-04 04:00:29 +0000 UTCZuko’s journey is definitely the best bit about the animated series. Still, the reason why the main three’s story is less interesting is because 1. Season 1 is the weakest of the three 2. They delayed a pretty major plot point (the comet at the end.) The reason for that is because they don’t know how old their actors are going to be when they film the last season. They don’t want to start the ticking clock until they know their filming schedule.

2024-03-03 22:37:11 +0000 UTCI've never seen the animated series so I had no knowledge going into this and I'd have to say it was a good first season! Graphics weren't bad, music was great, and the acting was pretty on point. I only knew the actress who played Katara from Anne with an E...go Ka'kwet! My only issue I have with it is that I felt the connection/story with Aang, Katara, and Sokka felt a lot less interesting than the connection/story with Zuko and Iroh. I was way more excited for Fire Nation than the main characters journey. I really hope this gets a season 2! Excited to see where it goes and I think I'm going to watch the animated series finally (probably through your reactions lol) Thanks Joe!
