Remember when belly's mom said " For Belly, Conrad is the sun and when the sun comes out, the stars disappear." Then we see belly struggling to sleep on a side hence her struggling to choose consciously, while unconsciously she makes a decision by waking up facing conrads side. Two subtle YET very clear details and symbolisms.
