2023-06-15 16:07:00 +0000 UTCI’ve watched this movie soooo many freaking times, since it came out when I was 6 🥴 And only lately I’ve found Cal hilarious, much thanks to Bill Zane’s portayal of him. His line delivery is gold and makes me cackle 😂 The character is a complete jackass, but like still. The way he says certain lines 😂 ”What to doooooo…“, ”This is *absurd*!“, ”Oh it’s a little slut isn’t it…“, ”I HAVE A CHIIIILD!“ and the best one: ”I put the *diamond* in the *coat*. AND I PUT THE COAT ON HER!!!!!“

The Hope Diamond was said to be one of the most cursed objects in existence. Almost every person who came into ownership or contact with that diamond wound up dying tragic or horrific deaths. Some people who believe in the curse think that the Hope Diamond was on board the Titanic, which caused the ship to sink.

As much as I love this movie though, I still find A Night to Remember to be better. It would be great if you could react to that movie as well and do a compare and contrast. There were quite a few scenes taken from A Night to Remember and then remade by James Cameron a put in Titanic. As for William Murdoch committing suicide, no that did not happen. Someone shooting on the ship to keep the people back did, but I do not think anyone was actually shot or committed suicide by Gunshot. The family and the town that William Murdoch was from was deeply offended and angry about how James Cameron depicted William Murdoch because the depiction basically slandered Murdoch. In several interviews, James Cameron vouches that he did wrong by Murdoch and wishes that he could go back and change it.

If so, I think that's so cool! Besides that I totally Agree with you, no matter when or how often I watch Titanic it stays a good Film and it doesn't age badly

I love it more every time I see it, the tension and build up throughout the whole thing is just perfect.

2023-06-12 01:13:38 +0000 UTCThere are like 16 deleted scenes, which are both a couple of Jack and Rose scenes, some scenes that are based on actual historic events, or at least stories that were told. Some events are made for dramatic events (like Murdoch shooting himself, his family was pretty pissed off at that scene). James Cameron was the one who drew all the pictures. Just another talent for him to put on his resume lol. It’s his hand that we see in the drawing scene. The old couple that laid in bed with the water flooding in was an actual married couple, Isidor and Ida Straus. She refused to get on a lifeboat, she was determened to stay on the ship with her husband. Did you notice at the ending scene that the only people in the room were people that died that night? Except Lovejoy ofc. And at the clock behind Jack it shows the time that Titanic actually sank. ALL RIGHT, I could do this all day lmao, but I’ll chill now

What pisses me off every time I watch this film is that I still find myself yelling at Rose NOT to jump off of the lifeboat! Jack was resourceful he'd have managed to save himself if he wasn't more focused on saving her. If she was safe on the boat, he'd of had time to save himself. And yeah, the fact she didn't leave her granddaughter who took care of her the locket, pisses me off! I'm glad the group who brought her there didn't get it, but it should of gone to her. P.S.
