I feel like viewers in general tend to be extremely harsh towards teenagers making mistakes. Which is kinda crazy to me, because I doubt there's an adult alive that didn't make SOME big mistakes when they were young.

I think many haters (not all) are wanting to see a perfect character who can do no wrong, but in reality no one is perfect and there are so many real life components to this show which I love. We all want to view ourselves as a hero but no one is perfect and we all make mistakes and have flaws. I know a lot of people get mad when it takes someone awhile to learn from their mistakes but hey, that’s life right? ❤️

2023-06-08 17:02:56 +0000 UTCI don’t get why people don’t like Rory like yeah that’s her personality, she’s a nerdy reserved person she’s never been in a relationship let alone liking two people at once. She thought she was doing the right thing staying with Dean but obviously she wasn’t good at hiding her feelings towards Jess. I don’t think she is mature enough to handle these emotions that’s why Rory acted the way she did. It shows her age.

2023-06-08 08:23:47 +0000 UTCI find it interesting that people start to turn on Rory in this season. She's smart when it comes to almost everything but love. She's a teenager experiencing things for the first time and doesn't know how to responsibly navigate it. The heart break she experiences in this episode is valid and she actually understands it after the fact, but like anyone else she's still devastated while confused. The fact that she GETS IT and tells Jess that Dean wasn't being a jerk is even sadder.
