When Rory goes to college is when the show really picks up in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I really like these first 3 seasons. But if I have to choose my favourite it would not be until college :)

While I can finally admit that Rory & Dean's relationship is a cruise control button relationship, I'm in love with the quirky town, sarcasm, crazy amazing humans and charm, but mostly the relations it holds to my own life as Emily is my mothers twin. I watched my first episode in 2004 when my oldest son was just born and I've watched it EVERY.DAY.SINCE!!!! La la la la la lalalala =P GG's for life!!!

And now heβs married to leighton with kids and they both say theyβre very happy β€οΈ

Rori does a lot to please Lorelei and 2. hard to believe that Rori dreamed about Harvared since she was a child without the additional influence of Lorelei. It suggests that she cannot separate her own dreams from what seems to be her mother's, even if it becomes hers too eventually (if that makes sense). So it's no wonder Rori is used to prioritizing Lorelei's dreams, partially even by staying with Dean (her mom hates Jess and always points out how great Dean is). Of course it's not the only reason they are together, but that for sure adds to the picture. It's just rewatching the show previously I understood how little decisions Rori actually does on her own
