If you watch it again you will see that Liam was in fact outside of Lip's room during the party scene and did not go in the room until it cut to them sleeping.

2020-06-12 14:54:01 +0000 UTCwell to be fair I think it was more about Lip didn't want them to be alone with Fiona, Lip wasn't drinking and he was checking up on carl, and Liam was in the room with Lip so it wasn't an issue.. Lip lost trust in Fiona so i couldn't trust her to take care of the kids alone.

2020-06-12 14:42:57 +0000 UTCSo Lip knew that Fiona was drunk and was misbehaving, so Lip decides to take Liam and Carl to another party full of people who are drunk and misbehaving. I dont agree with Fiona, but I think there's a bit of hypocrisy in that.
