I prefer this guide than the slayalive which has sometimes 5 straight episodes of Buffy or Angel.

2020-02-06 22:29:01 +0000 UTCYou definitely need to watch Angel! There are some powerful episodes especially towards the end of season 1 and in season 5 and quite a few crossovers with buffy (multiple characters make appearances)

2020-02-06 22:26:56 +0000 UTCI loved this episode. Something I've realised when rewatching Buffy is they foreshadow in ways you never see coming. There are subtle call backs like a series later to stuff and it is so self aware. I only ever watched a couple of episodes of Angel, it wasn't really for me, and I think in the entirety of Buffy there were only a couple of references that were covered in recaps etc. There is an episode in s4 that kind of refers most to an Angel episode but you don't need to follow both at the same time to understand the show so I imagine you could be a little flexible with the watching schedule mostly. Excited for s4, there are some really stand out episodes but as a whole it's all great.

2020-02-06 11:51:35 +0000 UTCDon't worry, he said on youtube community that he's gonna give Angel a go for at least a season :) Also, thankfully you don't have to be an Angel fan to enjoy that show, haha. I have never liked Angel the character and yet have watched the entire Angel series 2-3 times for the other characters.

Angel on here I found okay but for the most part I just saw him as Buffys love interest but on Angel the series I grew to love him. He becomes so much more interesting. I don't want to spoil so I'll stop texting now but there is a list for the best watch order in my opinion if you want it. Again great reaction.💜
