UNCUT: Shadowhunters S.2.8 Reaction

I'm glad you still made shadowhunters reactions even if it got the least views. This is why I started watching your channel. I thought this ep was interesting for highlighting everyone's insecurities (especially alec's). I really like Alec's character because we get these small moments about him built up throughout other episodes. I think Max's rune ceremony was more about Alec to show more of his character (proud older brother, wants bf and mom to get along etc).

The only people said it was rape was the small group of haters who hate Alec with all their being. The real reason people were angry is bevause their sex scene got cut while all the heterosexuals get proper ones and good intimacy. The writers actually listen to us though which is good. Loved this episode, love Magnus/Alec together, I really dislike Simon and Clary as a couple to be honest. Love their friendship. Loved them all hallucinating and Magnus being badass. This is the episode I actually started liking Maryse

this is one of my favorite episodes, i just found it very interesting. It even caught my mom's attention cause she walked in on me watching it and was like 'whoa what's going on?' and now she watches the show haha. The Alec scene was really sad because despite it being the magic that projected his attempt of suicide, it meant that he was hating himself for what 'he' did and was suicidal, which is so sad. It always breaks my heart knowing he really felt that way, like they'd be better off without him. And I actually ship climon, but I'm of the very very minority...I just think they have good chemistry and fit well together personality wise. They're a sweet couple to me.

i did for teen wolf (and skam/pll but mainly teen wolf) last year but stayed for shadowhunters since we're at a season which i can't stand lol.

Does Shadowhunters really get the lowest amount of views? Funny, it was the reason I subscribed to your Patreon! Not that I don't enjoy your other reactions too ;)

Yeah thats a very good point and can see why people would be angry at that, give them a hot sex scene, why the fuck not right?

I think people were actually more mad that literally EVERY straight couple on the show gets some kind of sexy scene, including a completely unnecessary one between jace and a random girl, but not them? It’s like, what reason do you have for not even showing them make out a little? Also the people saying it was r*pe were mostly anti-malecs reaching lol
