The first thing I want to say is that the show runners did that whole thing with Ragnor and Magnus for the book readers. They were best friends for the longest time and Ragnor was one of the main reoccurring characters in the “Bane Chronicles” which is Magnus’s book that is dedicated to his many adventures over the centuries. I’m so happy you properly ship Malec now and JUST WAIT for next season. Izzy is out here fixing everyone’s problems like the queen she is. She helped Alec and Jace and also invited Magnus. This is the point where I personally think Simon’s character starts to get better and better and I’m so ready for you to see that. So close to season 2! Its going to be a ride

To this day, it's still my number one favorite scene of the entire show. It's so well done. The music, the kiss, the way it's acted. Alec's nervousness, Magnus' sass.
