Good afternoon moon babes! Today I am going to be sharing with you more in-depth about herb bowls that I like placing around the home for various intentions. These are perfect for inconspicuous or closeted witchcraft as they honestly look super pretty and almost like potpourri. Today we are doing another take on protection workings, place these all over your home to absorb, reflect, or ward your space and protect it.
I make and place these herb bowls all over my home for different intentions and properties. If you have pets you can make this into a spell jar and seal the jars you place around your home with white or corresponding spell colors. Or choose pet safe herbs and leave these plates somewhere they can not reach.
Some might want to formulate slightly different herbs and combinations for each room to set different vibes, allow yourself to change things as you see fit and feel comfortable with.
Things Needed:
-Bowls or jars
-Pink salt
-White rice
-Small protective items that are specific to you and safe to leave out. Or small items you enchant and put into the bowl.
-Angelica Root
How to cast:
Cleanse yourself, your tools, and your home entirely back to front. Then activate each plate for whatever specific protection you are going to be setting, if you would like create a sigil for the bottom of the plate. (There's a video on How to Create Sigils available for $15 and up Patrons.) If you are going to be making more than one plate of the same herbs do them together, and work the combining of ingredients on the plates from the back of your house forward. Meaning whatever bowl you are placing in the furthest back of your home start there and move forward. Activating each herb as you add it to your plate and setting it into your home. Place this where people or pets do not bother it, this working does not need to be hidden from all view - just don’t let anyone mess with it.
Witches notes:
-I use tea plates that I have collected, they are small and fit my space and aesthetic of my home. So while people do know that im spiritual, they don’t expect much from seeing them placed around my home.
-I personally like creating slightly different variations of these bowls, near the door would be something that protects and absorbs any negative e energy you might be bringing in with you, or that is coming into your home. Absorbing that into your herbal mix that you can then cleanse away or transmute the negative energy into something else. You can also build a reversal spell into one of these if you wold like so if it is hit then automatically that nasty energy is sent away from your home. Then creating protection bowls with high energy all over the rest of my home and sleep protection in the room I sleep in.
My sleep protection plate mix would contain herbs along the lines off:
-Pink Salt
Near my front door I would make a mix like:
-Rice
-Pink salt
-Sharks teeth
