2024-05-15 20:28:45 +0000 UTCGood story! As I indicated before, the "role" that Lana was playing of a trashy party girl played to Lindsay's feelings of superiority. He just did not consider the obvious -the women he was partying with and who saw his precious briefcase could be a danger. Of course, if this were a darker comic and he was a real professional, he may have killed both Lana and Sammy (or tried to) once Lana pulled that briefcase from under the bed. Someone being truly careful about security would eliminate all witnesses, just in case. But that would mean he'd need to be a real killer and there is no indication he is that bad.
