Awesome shoot with Moonchild

You may recall that this week I was meant to shoot with Laura Giraudi on Tuesday and Moonchild on Thursday.
It turned out that Laura was held in Florence for an extra day due to a flight cancellation - she was meant to return to Paris on Sunday night and in the end she returned midnight on Monday. Fortunately we stayed in close contact during this delay and decided jointly that it would be best to postpone our shoot since sticking to the original plan would have resulted in Laura getting very little, if any, sleep on Monday night as she had to head off at 6am to catch the Eurostar to London. I didn’t particularly want to have a zombie model on Tuesday and although Laura was prepared to do it, she also felt that she’d have been “low on energy”.
So we agreed to reschedule the shoot to 2 September and changed the Eurostar tickets accordingly.
Because of that, I got in touch with Catarina (aka Moonchild) and asked her if she’d be prepared to bring tomorrow’s shoot forward by one day, which she agreed to.
So this afternoon I shot with Catarina for four hours. It was a truly awesome first shoot that resulted in over 900 new photos and several videos including BTS.
We started upstairs on the landing with a black lingerie set that evolved into a strip tease and full frontal nude. We continued in the bedroom with Catarina initially In a thong and subsequently fully nude. Both these sets were shot with natural light, often shooting against the light, resulting in beautiful skin tones and highlights.
We continued with a glam red and gold set with stockings set in my front room with full studio lighting, which also developed into full glam nude after a strip tease.
We then shot a sheer dress and an art nude set at the FPI spot using natural light, resulting in some amazingly beautiful photos with Katerina’s red hair glowing in golden hour light.
After that we shot a Bracli Destinos pearl playsuit - Catarina is small and this playsuit was tiny (Chiara couldn’t get into it), so I thought I’d offer it to Catarina and it worked. We shot this in my front room with full studio lighting - Catarina was standing in front of a white wall, so I managed to capture the playsuit and the pearls extremely well.
After that we shot a body jewellery set and silver top again at the FPI spot. We finished with a girl next door set starting with Catarina in shorts and a Tangaland pink micro bikini underneath. This set started at my back door and continued in the garden.
I am including thumbnails with most of the photos we created that should give you a good summary of today’s awesome shoot.
