Very high rated trilogy over all and Andy Serkis who played Gollum returns as the main character. Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) War of the planet of the apes (2017) Maybe its too soon to start with a new trilogy as you been through LOTR, Hobbit, Dark Knight etc lately but anyways, its a recommendation :)
