Added 2024-06-21 07:27:45 +0000 UTCahhh this movie was so good! It was definitely a plot twist to find out it was actually Norman playing the role of his mother. Aside from the shower scene that is so well known, I found that the scene where we see the corpse of the mother is just as terrifying! The actor for Norman did such a good job at bringing his character to life, I was so creeped out by him LOL. For a 1960s black and white film, it definitely spooked me haha. I love, love, love the work done with the camera - for example, when the private detective is going up the stairs and so as he is going up the camera is looking down at him. In this case, foreshadowed a possible death.. and it did! I'm thankful for my horror film class because we really got to learn about how camera angles, shadowing, etc. can provide so much depth and detail for a story :) Lmk what you guys think about this movie, thank you for the request!!

This movie has some very good elements like you mentioned the camera work and the plot twist Also it was bold to kill off one of the main character earlier in the movie! Alot of movies were inspired by this one and I think this is the first slasher movie And I agree with you Norman gives one of the best performance as a villain Thanx for your reaction
