WARNING TO ALL APPLE APP USERS!

Authors just received this email.
What's it mean? Apple is being a greedy prick and wants in on the patreon fees... and they're making you pay for it.
Yaaaaa, screw them.
With that in mind, I though I'd make this post and clarify some things for the those of you who might be subscribed through the Apple app.
1): These changes only apply to new subscriptions. If you're currently subbed, you're golden. If you fall off or add new authors, then you'll get hit with the app fees.
2): These fees DON'T apply to anyone else OTHER than the Apple store app, currently. Meaning if you're subbed through say, Google or Paypal, or better yet, directly through Patreon, then these changes shouldn't apply to you.
3): Authors DO have the option of keeping fees for new subs the same, but they're the one's that have to eat the fees in turn. (this is what I currently have it set to)
The example Patreon gives is that on a $10 sub, new Apple App users would have to pay $14.50 (screw that) OR the Content creator can eat the fee, meaning instead of making $8.75 on a $10 sub, we would only get about $6.50.
With all that said, If you're currently an APPLE APP user, be very careful and consider Subbing to current and new authors through PATREON ITSELF (and their Website).
This will not only save YOU money, but help out the Authors you support immensely, and let Apple know that we'll not tolerate this kind of tomfoolery.
