Since it wasnt really mentioned in the Anime for obvious Reasons, in the Light Novel it was revealed that Anshi is only 11 years older than the Emperor. The Emperor was at the start of the Series (S1 Ep1) 34 years old. Anshi had her Period at a particulary early age so she was send to the inner court by her unscrupulous family in order to seduce the Former Emperor, whose preference for young girls was well-known, and conceive his children under the guise as being an attendant to her older half-sister, who was sent as a middle consort in a more official capacity. She had been chosen due to starting her menstruation early at around 9 or 10 years old and gave birth to the Current Emperor when she was 11. She raped the former Emperor roughly 15-16 years after she gave Birth to her Son the current Emperor when she was around 26 or 27 years old and the former Emperor was around his late 30s or early 40s but the Author never gave a exact Age for him in all this.
