EARLY ACCESS // colorful heads
Added 2025-05-13 09:47:52 +0000 UTCI’ve been so drawn to primary colors lately. I think its because of the schiele-inspired studies I’ve been doing in recent months, but also because I’ve been looking at the paintings and sketches by one of my favorite mural artists, Aryz.
So for these drawings, I compiled some sketches that I’ve drawn in the past and added some color to the faces, trying to stick to the theory of color temperature zones on the face. I really enjoyed working with these bright colors! I still want to make a bigger painting with a color scheme like this - gotta figure out how I will make that work, because primary colors quickly look goofy. But this drawing session definitely make me want to try it!
