EARLY ACCESS // another mermaid
Added 2022-05-13 10:30:48 +0000 UTCHere’s another mermaid! I really enjoyed the rougher, more expressive workflow of the first mermaid painting I made and wanted to try it out again. Taking a rougher approach with more “facets” and random details has definitely made the painting process for characters more enjoyable for me! I guess mermaids are a perfect subject matter to test new workflows on, since they are so open to interpretation. You can add as many fantasy elements as you want and since they’re usually floating, it lends itself to lots of creativity in terms of the pose. Hope you like this one!
