PROCESS VIDEO // Stargazer
Added 2020-01-28 12:31:31 +0000 UTCA quick process video for the first half of Stargazer! Just the part that I did in procreate. For the most part, I used Maxpacks gouache brushes for this one. Hope you enjoy!

And I’ve been mostly working in Procreate for a while, so “reading” a full timelapse is not too difficult anymore, and it’s much easier with something where it’s art rather than is that a bug. Need to watch it a second time to think over how you’re using those hard on one side soft on the other brushes, it’s not something I’ve played with (much) but the effect is interesting. It’s a different take on a calligraphic line than the kind of stuff I’m fond of. Got a list of other bits to try and get straight in my head too, but half the fun of a timelapse is solving for yourself what the steps must be.

It feels like for a chunk you were planning to have the feet mostly obscured by clouds and I do wonder what that version would feel like. I also really enjoyed seeing how you built up the shadows on her body out of very gestural shapes.
