Not partners in the traditional sense, more like superheroes who are best friends so they do a lot of stuff together, like Mr. Incredible and Frozone.
The video game they're playing, Frenzy Party, was added by Melody as she did the backgrounds. She likes to add little stuff, especially shark-related things, when she does the backgrounds.
"Videro games" in the script isn't a typo, but a Homestar Runner reference. We do a lot of those, even if they aren't visible in the comic the public sees.
