The water temperature has dropped incredibly from one day to the other. It was a real shock to get into the river today. I couldn't even do my usual swim!
Yesterday was a cold day and this morning when I went to the river must have been around 9 degrees Celsius. It was lovely to feel the warmth of the morning sun on my way back home. I sat at the neighbours' façade like a lizard; I was really grateful for that comfort after the shock 😊
Even though I love changes and seasons, when I was in the water I felt the grief of knowing that probably from now on my swims will be shorter, or let's say different. Constant transformation and adaptation...
Apparently temperatures will rise over the weekend... The sea is calling... 💙
