Reality is more complex than it looks like... I went for a dip this morning with my friend, to her beloved beach, knowing that companies had been discharging sewage in the area in the last few days. The map is covered in alerts of this outrageous practice, and it seems that the tendency is in the rise...

We went into the sea without immersing our head. It was wonderful to be with sea, to float, to swim, and also there were moments of anger and sadnesses to witness this mess. To the naked eye there were areas of suspicious foam (although sea foam does not necessarily mean pollution, knowing that the water was polluted interpretations come into awareness).

Swimming in a sea of emotions and sending love to this ocean that we're damaging with our lack of compassion, and disconnection with nature.

I don't know if you know Surfers against Sewage (https://www.sas.org.uk/) but I just wanted to mention them as it's one of my favourite environmental organisations and I've fundraised for them in the past. They focus on many different areas such as water quality analysis, education, ocean and plastic pollution, and are doing a great job with sharing publicly all the nasty practices of companies dumping sewage into the ocean with the hope that this can be controlled, banned, prosecuted... Talking about this creates ripples, necessary to them become waves.
