Celestia glared at the contents of the medical folder as if she expected it to suddenly to confess for its past sins in my Equestria dreamscape. Unable to extract a satisfactory confession from the inanimate papers she closed the folder and rather unceremoniously levitated it back onto the Doctor Healing Wings desk and dropped it with a thunk.

The pale alicorn slowly took a deep breath and closed her eyes before speaking in a very even, controlled tone. "Doctor. I want to thank you and the staff for quickly dealing with this recent emergency. Apparently Prophecy is still conscious and lucid?"

The bright pink pegasus mare nodded her head. "Yyyyeesss. She is awake and doesn't appear to be in a life threatening condition. However until we can clearly determine what caused this recent incident I want to her to remain at least overnight for observation."

The doctor picked up the same folder Celestia had been looking at and opened it. She appeared to refresh some detail in her mind before speaking again. "Prophecy has obviously weathered this attack better than she did the one in Ponyville, Link and it appears that her breathing exercises and the quick thinking of Head Nurse Greenstick helped to keep the situation from escalating further." Link

Celestia's horn glowed for a moment and suddenly a bottle of bourbon and 2 tumbler glasses appeared in a flash floating in front of the alicorn. The princess's levitation popped the cork; then the Co-Ruler of Equestria poured herself about 3 fingers of the light caramel brown liquid into a glass and then looked at the mare.

"Care for a glass doctor?"

The pegasus shook her head. "No. No thanks." She watched as Celestia took a healthy gulp of the whiskey and in a sheepish voice she spoke. "Um, your Highness. Technically the consumption alcohol is strictly prohibited in the infirmary so could you perhaps...."

The mare's voice failed her as Celestia gave the doctor a look while continuing to finish the glass. The doctor coughed a couple times before continuing. "But so long as you confine your consumption to my office it should be alright."

Celestia refilled her glass again and took another, smaller, sip before speaking again. "So doctor. Has Prophecy given an explanation for what seemed to bring on this most recent attack?"

Happy to have something else to talk about Healing Wings rummaged around on her desk for a notebook. She flipped to the correct page and then spoke.

"Yes! Your Highness, but understand Prophecy was in a state of extreme agitation when she made this statement. Apparently she experienced another of her bouts of distant premonition. She saw herself in the same space as she was in when the attack occurred. However she described the room as being very in a dilapidated and abandoned state. She was there and so was Nurse Spring Bloom. Although the nurse was frozen in place and silent. Suddenly the nurse's head swelled and then exploded but the red bow in her mane remained but now it was attached to a head of a filly which was projecting from the stump of the mare's neck."

The mare looked up from her notes to find Celestia staring at her with look of concern in her eyes. The alicorn then slowly spoke. "Are, you sure that's what she said doctor? Did the filly say anything to Prophecy?"

The doctor hurriedly looked at her notes again. "Well, uh. Apparently the filly just greeted her and acknowledged Prophecy's presence. Uh, then the mare found herself back in this current setting. Oh! And apparently the filly spoke with something of a rustic or rural accent."

Celestia downed her second glass of bourbon. The alicorn's horn glowed and the door to the doctor's office opened. With a clear, commanding voice the princess spoke. "Sergeant. Could you please step in here."

The head of Celestia's Royal Security Detail stepped into the office. Then the unicorn came to attention. "Yes your Highness."

Celestia poured herself another glass as she quickly levitated one of the doctor's notepads and a pen off her desk. Hastily the princess jotted down a note. Tearing it off the pad she folded it up gave it to Royal Guard. "Sergeant. I need you to go my sister's quarters right away, and give this note to her directly."

The unicorn looked confused as he took the note with his own levitation. "Um your Highness. Your sister is asleep right now. Do we want to–"

"Then wake her and convey to her that this is critical and is related to one of her ongoing projects. Now. Time is of the essence. So–"

Celestia's horn flared and the sergeant vanished in a flash as her Highness teleported the unicorn on his way. With the sergeant gone the white alicorn returned her attention to Doctor Healing Wing.

"So at the moment Prophecy is not in a life-threatening situation? However you want to keep her at least overnight for observation?" As Celestia said this she started filling the second glass with bourbon as well.

"Uh, yes your Highness. If nothing else I want to run another battery of tests to confirm that this latest episode didn't undo all of our efforts to help the mare survive. Therefore I–"

The pegasus was interrupted by a large globe darkness suddenly materializing in the office when it vanished Princess Luna and sergeant were standing there. The Prussian Blue alicorn had obviously just woken up and hadn't bothered to brush her bed frumpled mane and tail nor had she donned any of her regalia, but she had Celestia's note floating in front of her.

For his part the Royal Guardpony looked like he wasn't fond of teleportation because he was a bit green around the gills. Celestia looked at him. "Thank for your assistance Sergeant. Now please resume your post."

The unicorn went to a wobbly attention and saluted her. Then he slowly stepped out of the office and closed the door. As he closed it Celestia's horn flared and a privacy bubble enveloped the office. Ignoring the doctor in the office Luna addressed her sister with her informal name.

"Celly! Is this accusation legit?"

Celestia passed her sister the second glass of bourbon as she nodded her head. "Lulu we need to talk."

The Princess of the Night accepted the glass and took big sip. Then she locked Celestia's stare with her own. "Yes, yes we need to."

To be continued.

Setting aside the seriousness of the situation, we don't see nearly enough of bedhead Luna.
