Hey, sorry for the late response, didn't see this since it's on an older post. From that room, you're supposed to go into the next room left, hit the room left of that for a save if you want, then go up through the tall room, enter the room right, drop down and take care of the enemies, then use the Wire Shot to pull down the tiki statue up above - from there you can continue up into the next room and pull down 3 more statues from the ceiling, which will allow you to continue back into the tall center room of the Deep Soil, where you want to head up into the room just above where you came from, which is now open because of the 3 statues you pulled earlier.

There was never a scene selection area in previous versions; since you're a Patron though, if you take a look at the Download Links tag on the left of the posts page here and scroll down a bit, you can find a download for v.02 of the Gallery, which acts as a quick way to view all of the sprite H-scenes in the game without gameplay
