Agent 69

A patron reward for McClaw. He wanted my OC Rosemary Parker as an agent from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. TV series. Link

In particular he wanted to be certain that she was holding the U.N.C.L.E. Special modular weapon system in its carbine configuration. Which was no problem since the foundation of the system is the Walther P38/P1 pistol which I had plenty of reference. Also I had good examples of the show prop.

When it came to setting and additional gear McClaw  gave me a free hand. After some thought I decided to have her doing something that becoming popular with the spy/action adventure genre.

     Scuba diving.

So I did a little research into period wet suit and scuba gear for this piece. Now I did put a rubber muzzle gasket over the barrel to keep water out of it, but I am pretty sure the salt water isn't doing the scope any favors. Especially with 1960s scope waterproofing technology, but hey it's the magic of TV!

This Saturday 8/21/21 starting at 5:30pm Pacific I'll be streaming again on Picarto. Join me for an evening of art, stories, and the D&D report. See you there!

That's about the most deflated I've seen Rosemary's hair without a hat. (Watches the zipper.)

McClaw

oh look, she's holding megatron!

Agent 69 was in Get Smart….nice crossover however….UNCLE did base their guns on real weapons of the times. So real the Feds raided their set fearing they were making illegal full auto pistols. When shown these could never fire real ammo the Feds left.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Rosemary looks good in ANYTHING.

You know I've not seen many pictures of Rosemary but I think this is the first I've seen of them with wet hair and the effect is rather striking. And it's really neat how you added textures, especially on the arms and legs, that give the impression that their longer body fur is a bit matted due to the water. I keep thinking to the one stream where I believe you mentioned something like this on the final break I think. Except in this case it's with moisture. And as you already pointed out I don't think that scope would've really held up to being immersed in water for any length of time back then. Still this is a really neat piece and can only imagine just how much more stunning it looks in person. :)
