This was a great show, Ascendence of a Bookworm has a similar vibe and eccentric female lead, very fun, very good.

2024-03-28 20:37:47 +0000 UTCSpoiler Discussion: I think when Maomao said she left the feeling/emotion back in her mother's womb, she's specifically talking about love between lovers. She was talking about unwilling to even try to understand what Meimei was feeling about Lakan, and Meimei didn't want to quit or go solo as a courtesan because she wanted to see Lakan a bit longer. It's still not the happiest thing to say, but Maomao definitely loves her found family of big sisters and Luomen. She is simply uninterested when it comes to passion or romantic love and understandably so as she saw what love did to her mother.

2024-03-28 13:45:37 +0000 UTCFor anyone who hasn't finished the season, Spoilers ahead! I love how this is set up! The mysteries are great, but the whole family story is soooo well done and tragic. Everyone is hating Lakan at this point but mostly just can't at the end of the season! I have read the manga and some of the LN, it continues to be a fantastic story imo!
