Thornfinns VA is just so damn amazing, the nightmares and the scream make me cry everytime! Also the music goes so hard all season!

2023-11-20 20:04:56 +0000 UTCI really love this episode and they did the scene so much better than the manga. In the manga, Einar didn't have this much of conflicting emotions. When he heard Thorfinn struggling in his sleep, he just tried to wake him up. But the anime added so much scenes and dialogues that make the interaction more emotional. Einar having conflicting emotions is much more real and the emotions were delivered very well

2023-11-17 16:06:19 +0000 UTCJust as Yukimura had written Askeladd's character specifically for Thorfinn in season 1, he also didn't want Thorfinn to be alone in season 2, so he introduced Einar into the story. Thorfinn and Einar come from the opposite spectrum of war, but they are both starting over, and have each other. And the episodes get better from here on out with some very powerful moments coming up.
