It was just to hype up the fight even more and not so much what techniques which clan was using because that was already knows

2023-11-18 06:50:22 +0000 UTCThe kitchen translation is basically a mistranslation. 伏魔御厨子 is the full name of malevolent shrine in japanese, the character 厨 means kitchen by itself but together with 子, 厨子 is a specific type of double doored buddhist shrine, so i would say shrine is a much better translation

When Sukuna defeated Mahoraga he became the first sorcerer to do so, because among the ten shadows users, Mahoraga has only ever been summoned as a “trump card” because summoning him usually means death, even for a 6 eyes and Limitless user like Gojo’s ancestor. Long story short, Mahoraga is one of the top 5 strongest beings in JJK due to his ability to adapt to any technique used on him

2023-11-17 00:49:10 +0000 UTCAh Mahoraga, I hate that mf for undiscolsed reasons, but that was one of the best fight scenes I've seen in anime. Also it's funny if you look back at earlier episodes and you can see how often Megumi wanted to use that technique (like against Todo lmao). Also I was shocked this episode that they called it "Malevolent Kitchen" instead of Shrine. This aside from calling his slashes Fillet and Dissect and him having a fire power basically confirm that his Cursed Technique is cooking related. The animators definitely "cooked" with this episode, I hope they get what they deserve.

2023-11-16 23:35:20 +0000 UTCI just found out that Makora was another name for Mahoraga. Since I only know Mahoraga name. Also, I like the name Malevolent Shrine than Malevolent Kitchen since there is a shrine in the center of Sukuna's DE (and it sounds more badass, but Sukuna's cooking tho). Then what I love about JJK is they animate the fight so epic and some don't even have the scene from the manga. I hope the animators in Mappa doing well after working on this and other series.

Towards the last 3-2 Episodes it will get better again but next week will be rough. This week was a priority episode (just like last week) and if you look closely there were still unfinished cuts between the god tier cuts.
