As we all know, there's a famous saying that goes, "If you truly love something or someone, you'll learn to let them go." Although it's difficult to contemplate, it's not about forcing things to work out—it's about adopting a mature and adult-like mindset. Ironically, Ami seems to possess this kind of thinking as seen in numerous scenes before. Sumire and Kitamura share a relationship that holds great significance for both of them. However, pursuing it at this moment would require them to sacrifice the things they truly care about and their dreams' foundations. Sumire has her astronaut dream, while Kitamura's dream remains unclear at the moment. Ruiji tries to assist, but his approaches tend to create more problems than before. But this issue’s ultimately are forced to be addressed as they begin to affect more people. And that is how the show effectively portrays the adolescent mindset. Looking back as an older person gives us a different perspective, but putting ourselves in the shoes of teenagers is a different experience altogether. Additionally, Taiga finally comes to terms with the fact that she can never be Kitamura's romantic partner, which sparks an emotional outbreak and a subsequent fight. However, this fight serves the interests of both Sumire and Taiga, as they both begin to accept the love they have lost due to the progression of life and the forward movement of things. They realize that being stuck in the past will not benefit either of them. Ami's final line takes a subtle jab at Minori and questions her integrity as a friend to Taiga. When a stranger picks up Taiga's book, Minori chooses to ignore it. But we'll delve deeper into that topic later.
