For me the movie was on the path for the best KyotoAnimation movie ever (even surpassing "Silent voice" and "disappearance of haruhi suzumiya"). But I didnt like the second half at all. Watching the movie now for a second time it is better than I remember it to be. Still the second movie is way better and in my top 3 KyoAni movies.
