Weekly Status Report: 2025/08/03 to 08/16

Despite all the work needed for Otakon, I did manage to get a lot done for the Kinnikuman video. Namely, I finished the first round of recording. This past week I even did some re-records. Unedited, the audio is about six hours, and as of now, I have about an hour of finalised recordings (so, no screw-ups, breaths, or anything, just audio I plan to use). I even have some music added already, because I am using Pomp and Circumstance and know where I want the song used. OH YEAH!
This week is pedal to the metal on finalising audio. That means trimming it all down, getting re-records finalised, and balancing levels.
I can't believe this video is going to be longer than PaRappa. Kinnikuman was really fun to research and write about, I kind of don't want it to be over, lol. This video is going to be very After Effects-heavy.
Believe it or not... I am continuing to find new info. Someone on the 4Kids Flashback server pointed out there was more than one actor for a certain chojin in Ultimate Muscle... check the Weekly Bonus for that. Because we didn't have a report last week, I included two bonuses this week.
Yesterday I hosted Con Story Roulette, and while it was only Firearm on the call with me, I don't think I've ever had viewership for CSR be so consistent. It was 10 or 11 almost the entire stream. I was at my brother's place because I had to watch his dog and cat, so I didn't have all my usual equipment (I was using iPod earbuds as headphones lol) and I had to yell at the animals a few times to stop doing things they shouldn't be doing, but all in all, the stream was a success.
I have Colossalcon East in about three weeks, but I am not too concerned about it. We are not in "go mode" yet for Kinnikuman, but that time is approaching and I am excited for it.
