Jhair 14 - WIP3

- finished layer 3. For the images, rather than making another beauty render to showcase, I thought I should do something different and show the hair how I'm looking at it when making it. They are supposed to be WIP posts anyway :P. It also more clearly shows the difference between the different layers visually, since I'd wager for most, that sort of stuff is a bit abstract just reading about it here.

- anyway, like I said, completed layer3. More can be done there, but I want to push towards finishing this, it's already way more involved than I wanted to initially. It's also sufficiently close to the reference I was using, so I'm pleased with it in that regard and ready to move forward.

- I mentioned last time something about using splines to model this. Minor success there, I'd say half of all strands were made with that and when it worked properly it was great, but for some it was really hard to control so I was forced to do it like I always did. Also said strands are insanely unoptimized when it comes to polycount. I've left it like that for this, because I don't care that much about polycount (as long as it's not ridiculous) but yeah, it's still a waste. More experience required here I think.

- last layer left, as I usually do 4, small details and flyaways. The last layer is really "stop where you want" kinda thing for me. One can really go crazy with the detailing at that point, because it's all small cards left that are mostly very easy to add, so it's always tempting to keep adding. For this hair, I primarily want to breakup some of the very straight areas on the sides as those look a bit fake-ish/repeating. Other than that some additional work on the hairline and overall randomness should bring it all together. Should be done in the next couple of days.
