I myself find negative feelings spontaneously generated when I bother to scan their drivel. Fortunately those feelings fill me with joy and wonder as I fantasize about their pea brains dissolving in the rot of their acid vitriol. As a former marine, the new empress probably wouldn’t have known about Galkalgor giving Ashryn command of the dreadnought and sending Valeria away on a different mission, so like everyone else she probably assumes the matriarch died when Jade took out the bridge crew.
