Wouldn't it be funny if the former mannequin could still hear her thoughts since they share a connection. She could check on her from time to time and the new mannequin would start to like her life after some years or so. Heh

(the glass pane of a display window should do it during the night, while it is dark outside, but the display and the mannequin on display is bright light)
