After ruminating on Amelia and her opinion on Dumbledore I had a possible revelation as to at least part of the nature of this story. Not only Harry's new ability, but they way people think despite how clever they may each individually be, is very much as the story title, monochrome. As an example I'll admit even in canon Albus can be manipulative, but setting aside that this isn't canon, unless I'm totally miss-reading things Alubs still cares and is not Machiavelli in disguise. There seems to be a lot of seeing what you want to see going around. Am I anywhere near the mark in my thoughts?
