Battle of The Phobias
Added 2024-01-24 23:00:04 +0000 UTCI saw a recurring theme in my phobia post! Wanted to create a poll for it and see what wins!
I'm gonna make this available for free members as well because I'm just curious!

It appears heights is the winner on this!

2024-01-26 15:15:23 +0000 UTCI'm not afraid of needles until it's time to get my blood drawn. There's a different sensation compared to getting pierced or tattooed. (At least that's my perception)

2024-01-25 15:56:49 +0000 UTCOh man yeah that's pretty icky!

2024-01-25 15:56:08 +0000 UTCMakes sense. The fear of slipping and falling is very real!

2024-01-25 15:53:50 +0000 UTCI used to be afraid of needles, but a few years ago I got sick and was getting blood drawn weekly that I basically stopped being afraid or them, and then once I sat down to get my first tattoo in November that's when I knew I wasn't afraid.

2024-01-25 01:27:29 +0000 UTCI voted needles but ONLY in the eye. In general I have zero issue with them but stick a needle in someone's or worse - my eye. Ugh!

2024-01-25 00:31:16 +0000 UTCMy thing with heights isn't at a phobia level, but every time I'm near an edge, my stomach drops. As long as I can find a railing or something to hold on to while looking down, I'm ok. That's probably the closest thing I have to a phobia of anything.

2024-01-24 23:52:04 +0000 UTCI'm fine until I get to the edge. Those videos of people free climbing radio antennas? Absolutely makes me vomit.

2024-01-24 23:47:54 +0000 UTCThere was one time where I took a ride like it when I was in Australia. It was the highest ride in the park, and man it was mostly made with wood. When I reached the top, part of me was like "It's gonna break. I'm gonna die." We dropped, but it slowed down and landed back down. My mother thought I was very scared. She was kinda right. lol

2024-01-24 23:47:11 +0000 UTCHeights & claustrophobia! I never knew how bad I was claustrophobic until I had a sleep apnea test... Tiny room & strapped to a bed; I just lost it, I was bawling my eyes out and those fuckers wouldn't even let me open the door! I was so pissed!

2024-01-24 23:34:09 +0000 UTCThat's okay! These were just the popular ones being discussed in one of my posts! Youbare definitely right though! Intrusive thoughts are WILD
Abadon
2024-01-24 23:33:42 +0000 UTCnone of these are really true phobia's to me, but i opted for heights because intrusive thoughts are a thing.

2024-01-24 23:32:33 +0000 UTCI pulled a suicidal kid off the edge of a suspension bridge a few years ago. I didnβt acknowledge the danger in the moment but later after the adrenaline stops it messed me up. To this day I canβt deal with heights.

2024-01-24 23:27:49 +0000 UTCHeights is a very specific one. I'm not afraid of being on a tall floor or flying in an airplane, but if gravity takes over and the ground is far from me, the fear kicks in hard.

2024-01-24 23:10:17 +0000 UTCThat's okay! This was just a recurring theme on a post I made!
