I hope you all are having a great weekend. Below is where we are with the first chapter of ENA: Dream BBQ.
First of all, I want to thank all of you for the patience you've had with us. I know it's frustrating to wait so long for something like this, but I want to let you know that we have been playtesting and refining the remaining parts of Chapter 1 Lonely Door within our circles and a little bit beyond.
The response has been really motivating, and has been really emotional for me to see the reactions of playtesters experiencing this game for the first time. And although it is not as much content as we wanted to have all at once, we are really hopeful you will have a fun time even experiencing it in chapters.
We expect to give a release date early next year, along with a short trailer, which I will be planning over the next few weeks.
I also want to give a reminder that Chapter 1 of Dream BBQ will be free to play. But I also want to say right now that developing this game has been long and challenging for everyone on the team. It's been a 4-year project of passion and our budget has been stretched thin several times.
For the future chapters we may choose to have them be paid, just so the team of programmers and artists who make the ENA series possible can be paid properly for their work now and in the future.

ENA is a beautiful project, the surreal look, symbolic messages and cultural refrences are so well played out and the art behind it is truly breath-taking !! You and the team are very talented people. No matter the price of the future chapters i think it will be worth the price and i will be getting the full game even if it will cost me my last penny.

I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say that we'd want to support the team any way we can, and for the future development of the series to be as comfortable as possible.

I know I say this, like, every time you go live, but I really mean it: Since I discovered the series at the tender age of 16, ENA changed my life forever. Here are just a few of the ways ENA has helped me become a better person and live a better life: 1. ENA herself helped me be more compassionate about my own emotional outbursts. 2. The Temptation Stairway ending gave me hope for me to overcome my own depression. 3. I embarked on my artistic journey through ENA fanart. Since 2021, I have had tremendous skill-growth and even learned how to animate. 4. I met all but one of my friends through ENA. 5. I first grew my YouTube community through ENA fan-content. 6. The backlash I faced for being an ENA simp taught me to not let bullies get to me. 7. ENA's weirdness helped me be proud of my own. 8. Not only did ENA change my life forever; ENA SAVED MY LIFE. There is no way I would have made it to adulthood without this incredible series keeping me afloat. And those are just the changes off the top of my head! Thank you very very much much for everything, Joel! I can't wait to see how Dream BBQ improves my life even more! P.S. I still can't believe you drew my ENAsona!!! I found it while I was crying back in 7th grade I am not kidding. 😭 And it's helped me be more creative, I found so many sick (in a good way) people, and it is the reason why I am in a dev team! ^^ (HEY BOSS IF UR SEEING THIS! >:D) I basically spent all my teen years so far with this series- it's basically grown up with me- and I intend to keep my grasp on this little series! Ever since 2020 I have been following your content and ever since then I’ve discovered my friends, the way I view my art, and my identity. ENA has taught me that I should be creative and true to myself. I know it’s silly but I really don’t think I would be the same person without it.
