I wanted the off the grid man to be haejo's father so bad. When he and jaemi hit it off it was almost too much--for some reason I teared up every time they shared a moment. ugh.

2024-12-11 00:42:29 +0000 UTCthis ep is the first time I cried in this series and it just gets more heart-wrenching from here honestly. like tbh their situations are just very unfortunate, especially for Haejo. though I agree he’s being very selfish I can understand his motives, he just found out he’s dying and i guess he started to re-think all his life choices and had an adrenaline rush, but now it’s kinda hitting him that he won’t be here for longer. I just love this show and all the characters

2024-12-09 04:06:02 +0000 UTCAnd I think he's gotten more serious because due to his physical pain appearing more often he can't forget about the fact he's gonna die soon easily + now that he finally has a person he cares for in front of him again and having life moments that he enjoys, the realisation just hit him - that he's gonna lose all that soon. In Episode 1 he said at a certain moment that there's nowhere he wants to go & wasn't really enjoying his life, just kind of seeking an adrenaline rush through his work to feel at least smth I guess (Idk I am sleep deprived and probably dont make any sense right now😅)

2024-12-09 02:44:22 +0000 UTCThat scene at the end was also the first scene I've cried at :,( Even at the "A mushroom cuddling a potato" line haha. And then after, I just couldn't stop bawling, knowing in how much physical pain he was in while comforting Jaemi and keeping quiet so Jaemi doesnt notice. :( It hurts even more, when you think about the fact that both character never experienced any kind of comfort or loving hugs growing up
