It would make 0 sense for them to be functional whatsoever if the Daikaiju was actually truly fr fr dead, because the vital functions would cease to work for obvious reasons, since the attacks generally utilize uniorgans etc to generate energy-based attacks powered by w/e bio-energy kaiju have internally (during the training that 1 kaiju using its regenerated uniorgan to try to shoot a kamehameha blast)

I LOVE that they didn't do the stupid thing where the Third Division characters (except Ichikawa and Shinomiya) lose their minds and get hyper emotional/angry/feel betrayed at Kafka like most of us were probably anticipating would happen. It is SO nice for the characters to remain logical and stay aligned with what we've seen of them so far after all the bonding moments with Kafka. Absolute W squad and fantastic writing. โค๏ธ

Does it want him to kill indiscriminately or just to kill the guy that's trying to kill him right now? Seems like the latter to me, which is fair. We haven't seen that kaiju talking to Kafka before like that. I haven't read this manga but I keep having a hunch that his kaiju doesn't like other kaiju. Not saying it's a "good" kaiju, just thinking it's against the others for some reason.

2024-06-22 23:54:49 +0000 UTCAnime only here, Not sure you guys caught it, and I may be completely wrong, but the way it was worded in the scene were Kafka lost control was, first saying his body was reacting to the weapon like how it reacted to โthat Daikaijuโ, even emphasized that it viewed the director as a Daikaiju. Secondly when the parasite was talking it said Kaijuโฆkill, maybe I am wrong but the parasite may just want to kill Kaijuโs and views the director as a Daikaiju or I am just coping real hard.
