I know the majority wanted Franklin to go ham in prison, but he is smarter than that. When you are educated about the system and end up in jail, you know what fighting can get you. Franklin was never scared to be in prison, he was terrified of what he could lose outside of prison while being locked up. When you have something to lose, you move differently. He knew that fighting could get him more time, so he purposely hung his head low and avoided conflict. This is why even Leon's anger couldn't sway him to go back to his bunk and fight. The rage from his father was just that, irrational rage that needed to be vented out. Nothing more nothing less. Franklin is a thought leader. This is why those in power whom he comes in contact with are left puzzled as to why they can't figure him out. Take Reed, for example, his perception of Franklin differs from his knowledge of him. He sees a young black kid from the hood where guys like him are a dime a dozen. This is why he halted business and was going to wait it out and leave Franklin in prison to let things play out. After the aunt told him Franklin's thoughts about their connection, he did a 360 because he knows Franklin is irreplaceable based on their interactions and Franklin's ability to yield results. Franklin played to Reed's ego to get out of prison and forced his hand. Reed couldn't do a damn thing about it but get him out. Things are getting interesting. S3 lets go.

I'm glad they rewrote Teddy to be more badass in season 2 onward. Dorky Lil Dickey Teddy was lame in Season 1. Like how they essentially have him and Franklin be mirror images of each other, with the same ambitions

Also not sure why the subtitle said the wrong name but it should have said “Lenny” when franklin was talking to ray ray. Lenny was the dude who franklin had ray ray kill

Sadly where im from “put him on a t-shirt” means u want him dead😂 black folk tend to put family members on t-shirts to wear to their funeral
