Waiting for the next episode to kick us while were down. Anime only predictions > Dragon god Orsted run in on the way home? (His clothes were at the ruins), and or Orsted goes after Nanahoshi for sharing about the ruins. I don't see the homecoming being anything good. I expect more pain and regret from this series.

AngieAngelFish

Lose enough memories and that would be the outcome, Reset just imply a total loss without hope of recovery. Like formatting a hard drive deletes everything within. The brain is just a biological hard drive, memory loss is like corrupted data that is there but unreadable and with some effort and luck it might be restored. Though its possible Zenith is far beyond recovery, but that would be dark even by this shows standards.

AngieAngelFish

It's not rly even memory loss per se, it's outright brain reset, where you can't even speak because your brain doesn't rly know how

Skebaba

This is Paul's death from his perspective, having his last thoughts. Paul's last thoughts. --- "Am I dying?" "I want to confirm if Zenith was alive or not, at least." "Not only that, but Norn and Aisha..." "I wanted to see them again." "Are they going to school?" "Have they grown up?" "Lillia — what kind of reaction will she have to this? Even if it's a pain..." "Will she cry?" "Dammit, I'm filled with regrets." "I don't want to die..." "Still... there are.. still... so many things I wanted to do." Rudy: "Father!" "But..... Oh well..." "It’s better than seeing Rudy die." "Chin up, my son. Stay positive..." He smiles one final time.

✨《HENTAI GOD》✨

I don't think this turn against Man God is sudden at all, from the very first instance I've seen the vast majority of people calling him suspicious, just like Rudy himself. You're actually the first person I've ever seen trusting him so much.

AlmaWade 1979

I was totally spoiled about this episode, but it still hit like a truck seein Paul like that

AlmaWade 1979

Yes but in rudeus' list of priorities roxy is probably above even paul.

Big Duval

@ruin and only ruin. I have a strong feeling that people know the manga or participate in spoilers and that taints their commentary . I’m not calling specific names out but when you see such a stark change without the narratives supporting it it just gives a vibe that people know things others don’t. That’s why I barely participate. I’m trying to go for the full experience I just read your comment in the opening words stood out to me that’s why isolated you as the person I’m responding to. I didn’t read this full thread

Rock Lee

So from my understanding everyone all of a sudden doesn’t trust the man god when it comes to this? When he had multiple opportunities to trick Rudy? He told him what to do in the dessert he told him what to do for his sisters. He told him all that but this is the instance where the fandom decided oh he’s sneaky he doesn’t tell us everything let’s go against him. Sorry but that is just extremely ignorant to me. I could see if he had a bad rep up until now but he doesn’t.

Ruin

No he did not. You guys need to rewatch the episode. Literally go rewatch

Ruin

No you need to go rewatch it lol I just did. Your mixing up the words Rudy said on so I’ll regret staying too. The man god said no nothing like that. And continued stating what would’ve happened if he went the first time. He even said it again to steer clear of the place. In no way shape or form did the man god day he would regret staying

Ruin

What a episode on fathers day lol at least 1 father was alive

Black Hawk

"Ahhh it's Zenith" hahahaahahah down horrendous

Julian Fernando

Wait a fucking moment...it just got to me...Rudy lost an eye back at the demon continent (ok, got replaced with better one but let me cook). Then he lost a fucking arm here...and Zenith got "Cascaed" from sitting in a deam crystal for 10 years...Rudy is just a caster-build Guts

Xsardes

You need to go back and rewatch Turning Point 3 because the Man God absolutely DID agree that he would regret things if he stayed too. 17 minutes in, Rudy literally says "So I'll end up regrets whatever I do?" and the Man God says "Right. You can't avoid regrets no matter how hard you try. If you go to Begaritt, you’ll miss out on a great opportunity. So, I suggest you stay."

AJ

Whoever the hell decded on release schedule for these episodes is both fucking genious and fucking evil...the Sylphie getting preg on mothers day and now this bomb on fathers day...like really what the fuck?! This guy deserves the biggest bonus there is, and a kick to the balls for pulling timing like that off

Xsardes

I knew this was coming and it still hurts after all this time.

tinmanpaints

the fact that you assume the man god is a good perosn makes Rudy smarter for not putting blind faith in him like you are.

Mufid Lassissi

What I fear though is that if he didn't arrive sure Roxy would have died but Paul and the others would've maybe lost hope and returned home, thus avoiding their deaths. If Zenith really is irrecoverable and her memories and personality are lost forever, then he just lost two parents and his hand for nothing.

Oh, That's Wild

25:48 “It’s Zenith 🤜🤛 “ 😂

Th48

I was really confused how people say that it was released on father's day. Now i know fathers day is not the same date in every country. June 5 Denmark June 16 Japan Thanks for a great reaction you guys!

Oliver

Paul is the goat. Nothing more to say. He tried his best as a father. He isn't perfect and never was. But he still tried. That is what made him a fantastic character in my eyes.

L.C.

They want fans to have an awful ass fathers day this year. If your dad left for milk when you were young you got it terrible this fathers day with this included

L.C.

Been waiting for this to drop for weeks knowing it was gonna be on fathers day lol

L.C.

They aired this on Fathers Day.....

AGK

Rudy was the only one with the other world knowledge about how to stop the hydra from regrowing its heads. So there is that.

R'ja Norr

That ending with Zenith hits differently if you have every known someone with memory loss like Alzheimer's or Brain trauma, Its hard to express but it feels like the person is already gone and hurts to be around them. The stronger they were as a person the more painful it is seeing them reduced to such a helpless state. Its nothing short of torture which i wouldn't inflict on my worst enemy to experience. Hopefully magic might help Zenith but in reality such things are rarely reversible.

AngieAngelFish

Emotions like Grief, regret and guilt don't have to have any logic to them. My single mother died suddenly while i was away overseas, she was alone and no one expected it. No one has even blamed me, everyone saw it as something beyond my responsibility and told me i shouldn't feel any guilt. I know logically i am blameless and shouldn't feel like i failed her, but even 6 years later i still regret not doing more and it still hurts to feel that i failed to be there. This episode made me think about how deeply emotions can run in us all to the point we can barely understand why we feel the ways we do,

AngieAngelFish

The man god also said he would regret if he stayed and we know for a fact at least roxy would have died had he not came.

Big Duval

In my opinion he shouldn't regret going because he would have lost not just paul and zenith but roxy and the rest of that party too.

Big Duval

it was pretty obvious with the death flags since last episode, so it's not the biggest of deals, and as long as the waifus are alive i'm a happy camper

Pontiac Fredersen

Imo it’s best to avoid the comments section until you watch the episode yourself since it will be full of people talking about various things in the episode. Sorry you got spoiled tho

Roronoa Zoro

well damn that kinda spoiled the episode for me, guess I should have clicked the comments

Pontiac Fredersen

That’s false though riddles or not the man god has never been wrong in his decisions for Rudy. If that was the case he would have let Rudy go the first time which would have been a terrible idea. I feel like people aren’t taking into consideration that it’s clear the man god can see the future. Can see the outcomes. This is something he seen and something that could’ve been avoided if he had not gone. This wasn’t a two way decision. It was go you will regret it. Not you will regret it if you go or stay.

Ruin

Paul: “i can’t set an example for my son” Imo there’s no better example a man can set for his son, than to give his life to protect his family

Roronoa Zoro

I take it as if Rudy didn’t go. A lot of thinks wouldn’t have happened or they would’ve solved themselves. The man god didn’t agree to Rudy regretting things on both ends only if he went. Like I said the man god has so far stirred Rudy in the right direction riddles or not. It is the argument that he was giving Rudy a better alternative by staying so he didn’t witness everything but that’s just one of the possibilities. I have a feeling that this is one of those many future type things. Where if Rudy didn’t go. And listened to the man god a certain future would’ve had every problem solved by itself. Or maybe it would’ve had Paul and the wife survive but Roxy dies. But based on his warning. This was in fact the worst possible outcome of what could have happened. Maybe not to you guys but based on the story it is. This is seemingly going to cause some sort of shit for the next few episodes.

Ruin

o7 Paul, died the best way a man can, protecting his family.

Krimsonwulf

RIP Paul 🥹😢. 28:11 Fighters like Paul, Eris, and Ghislaine can use Battle Aura (Toki) to amplify their physical capabilities to the extreme. Rudy can't use battle aura.

Jerome

If there are Aqua or Kazuma to help here. this lizard would have drain lol

kimkheang

The fact that they stalled releasing an ep just so this could air on fathers day is such a troll move. Just like how the ep with Sylphy being Pregnant was on mothers day.

Jc

Great character in Paul, he will be missed. Always felt Paul saw Rudy through who he really is in his old life. Not what he became from his new life.

Neo Don

Anime only here. Yes the Man God said Rudy would regret going but he (Man God) did NOT say he wouldn't regret staying. Up until Rudy got Geese's letter he didn't really regret staying because he had no (recent) info. Let's say Rudy stayed with Sylphy how would Roxy be saved? Unless Man God or an other force would intervene (unlikely) she woud have died and Roxy is Rudeus's Goddess so if word got out from Geese or someone else months/years later how would Rudy feel about that? Yes, he would regret it or at least he would think if he could have done something else/better at the time so basically still regret lol. So that argument is not really valid imo and we know as the viewers and Rudy has a inkling that the Man God is shady but it is true that his advice helped Rudy. And after Roxy died what would have happened with the other people in the party? Would Paul cancel the rescue and go back to his son? I don't think so and would Paul and party reach the Hydra and even survive the fight with no mage with fire attacks? Yea there are a million possibilities but with only Paul dying and having saved Zenith (didn't expect the twist, I was shocked) it was not all too bad given the alternative of not going provided nothing else goes wrong and they can fix/heal Zenith (prob not). Long post I know but I see that argument all the time of ''Just listen to the Man God and you will have no regrets'' so I responded to you in this case.

Johan G

So zenith is in this state and paul is dead. They only found zenith and the hydra because of rudy. So if rudy never went paul would be alive and he would not have to see zenith in this condition. He was closer to paul anyway. They thought roxy was dead already so that would have been out of rudeus’s hands at that point. Plus, rudy would not know he could have gotten there faster if he did not try to leave, so no regrets there. I guess hitogami was right.

Danbro 77

Roxy would’ve 100% died and zenith wouldn’t have been saved. The man god speaks in riddles and has his own agenda. he said he’d regret it if he went. Which is true but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have regrets if he stayed

Spanky5940

Gotta love the turning points 😂😭

Lazzie Boi

It was very apparent there would be regret either way. Whether he went or not. Rudy stated that to the man god during that conversation.

Jamie See

took that finale smile from Paul as him seeing that he managed to save Rudy from that attack, and it breaks my heart.

Vueko

That small smile at the end when he sees Rudy still alive... To the man god stuff and regret, maybe if he never went paul wouldve given up and just returned, but then Roxy wouldve died. Rudy kinda traded one for the other. Also dont know how far the "regret" extends or the consequences of it moving forward. Great episode, on fathers day, feel like its still gonna get crazy even after this.

pachinko

The action in this episode was fire

Rafael

kinda a random fact, but the sword paul got in his left hand gets sharper the harder the thing is to cut. thats why he could cut off the hydra heads so well. he bought it for cheap because the dealer thought it was some dull trash sword.

Daniel Borrego

Amazing episode. I loved the long silence after the fight, only broken by Lillia quietly comforting Rudy. Very very well done.

Connoisseur

It’s a million possibilities of how it could’ve went but based on the facts. The man god has only led him in the right direction so far. Him going against that is the first instance of everything going wrong

Ruin

Nahhh it was a one way thing. The god said he would regret it if he goes not he would regret it if he stayed. He already knows the outcome of everything so most likely it would’ve been ok on this end.

Ruin

Paul’s pretty strong arguably saint class in his prime

Gearmaster_596

my mans coulda just stayed out home balls deep in catussy

Coping McCoperson

And if he didnt all of them prob would of died like whats your point? Its good that he was there if not it coulda gone way worse.

✨《HENTAI GOD》✨

tbf it be worse if he didn’t imo

Shakir

I was so shocked at this episode 💀 all I could say is why tf did Rudy come here after the warning.

Ruin

Happy Fathers day
