But after doing a re-watch, you're right, Director did yell about him about it - during the previous episode, #19. I literally just forgot haha.

2024-04-29 02:30:56 +0000 UTCLee, I don't know if you guys didn't feel it was important or if you just didn't notice, but Ryuuji has pretty much "friendzoned" (or as Ami put it in a previous episode, "daughter-zoned") Taiga. When he looks at her, he just sees a family member he has to care for, much like how he has to care for his momma and pet bird. It's not like Taiga is conventionally hot either. Go back the the pool episode where he helps stuff her swimsuit. He isn't having any lewd thoughts at all. It's all business.

2024-04-29 02:13:42 +0000 UTCAmi is simply so good at gaslighting that she's convinced Lee and friends that she was being being upfront with Ryuuji when she really wasn't. From the viewer's perspective we can see more clearly because we get scenes like Ami talking to Minori alone together, whereas Ryuuji does not get the benefit of seeing that.

Ami just leaves little comments and when asked to clarify she doesn't. All as bad as each other when it comes to communicating

2024-04-27 12:32:15 +0000 UTCSince you talked about it on the post disccusion, Kushieda as far as i know is a very divisive character in the fandom, some people love her and some people hate her, i dont hate her but over the course of 20 episodes as of now we have seen so much grow out of everyone in the cast (Taiga, Ami, Kitamura and to a certain extent Ruiji even tho he is having trouble figuring out how he feels he certainly has grown as a person) but Kushieda still feels like the same girl we encounter at episode 2 and we are in episode 20, she has now a dilema of feelings but she didnt grow as the other did.
